The Dark Knight viral campaign took no rest this weekend, as fans who subscribed at IBelieveinHarveyDent.com started getting a new call from Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart) on Sunday in which the candidate for Gotham District Attorney asked for help in proving slanderous accusations made by a mysterious organization, called the Concerned Citizens for a Better Gotham, wrong. Dent's site posted the following:

Harvey Dent rejects the slanderous charges made by a shadowy group of unknowns calling themselves "Concerned Citizens for a Better Gotham."

Harvey Dent has always been truthful and upright in his prosecution of corrupt cops.

There is no truth to any of the charges put forth by the operatives behind this shameless group.

Don't listen to the lies and innuendos of the people who want to keep Gotham the way it is!

If you want real change in Gotham, join our movement to take Gotham back!

News:

• Meet Harvey Dent! Harvey Dent will be at a Townhall Meeting to answer all your questions about how to take Gotham back! 3pm, April 1, Gotham Community Center #12, Gainley

• Harvey Dent accepted the endorsement of the Gotham Firefighters Association March 27. Thank you Gotham firefighters!

• The 100th new volunteer at Harvey Dent Headquarters this week will receive a free dinner with Harvey Dent himself! So come on down!

Be sure to take note of that April 1st 3pm mention! The new viral site for the Concerned Citizens for a Better Gotham can be found at CCFABG.org.

Still here? A new Joker site has been discovered as well at ClownTravelAgency.com, where something will also take place on Tuesday, April 1st.

I have never seen an advertisement campaign as immersing as this one. This truly is an amazing thing! How many viral sites does this make now? At least eleven! Keep up the good work WB.

You've got to give credit to WB. The WB team keep Bat-Fans on their toes this weekend with the whole HahaHatimes and now the Harvey Dent phone calls.

The odd thing about this campaign is that whenever I now see dent's visage, I think of Spitzer...hmmm.

Im really glad they are getting it right with Two-Face because he's my all time favorite villain against Batman. Cant wait for Aaron Eckhart's acting chops on this one. Only Maggie feels and looks out of place in this sequel.

Posted by: Hush on March 31, 2008 at 00:33:01

Sorta like how Holmes looked out of place in BB?

Posted by: Medel on March 31, 2008 at 01:00:24

Cool, see in the bottom, it says its a site by Joseph Candoloro, so i check josephcandoloro.com...check it out...

seriously the new batman is a waste of film. i cant believe how horrible people could respond to chris nolan. his version really sucks ass i mean i love batman but his version is aweful wrong someone bring back the tim burton version he is such a great director n his vision would c the batman n his true form

Posted by: The Phantom on March 31, 2008 at 05:39:19

Bat U...what planet are you from? Maybe you should crawl back under the rock you just snuck out of. The Dark Knight is going to be the pinnacle of comic book films. HANDS DOWN.

Posted by: Sithlord on March 31, 2008 at 07:33:25

Phantom, don't give people like "bat u" the time of day. They always just come here to start ****.

Anywayzzz, there better be a freaking trailer on tuesday. I still got blue balls from not having a trailer attached to 10,000BC.

People are still interested in the viral sites . . . ? After both trailers and a few pictures, I think this has really run its course.

love getting these phone calls. my wife laughs at me but i think it's cool. i was in target and put it on speaker phone and everyone's like "who the heck is harvey dent? i didn't vote for him" lol.

Anyone else think that maybe the travel connection on the new Joker site will lead up to a contest where you could win tickets to a premiere of The Dark Knight? Perhaps in one of the countries listed on the luggage?

Posted by: GooberBoob on March 31, 2008 at 10:07:08

So, I'm just wondering if A.I. should do another week of Beatles songs. I mean, they paid so much for those rights, it would be a shame to not get another chance to hear David Archuletta (sp?) bolox-up another classic. Of course, who will watch the show now that Danny "I'm-a-bigger-flamer-than-the-Human Torch" Noriega is gone? And I sure hope Chikeezie signs a commercial deal with Kraft for a new line of Kraft Macaroni and Chikeezie!
