Full New Speed Racer Trailer!

Warner Bros. Pictures has released online the full new domestic trailer for the Wachowksi Brothers' Speed Racer, coming to conventional theaters and IMAX on May 9. The big screen adaptation stars Emile Hirsch, Christina Ricci, John Goodman, Susan Sarandon and Matthew Fox.

i hope this bombs. tbh though i could imagine how sick a movie would be. with the car and the chase scenes but when i heard that the car wasnt actually gonna be in the movie (noticed i said be) i was like well there goes another one in the dumspter then i saw the trailer. i mean for christs sake its from the guys that directed the matrix so ud expect a badass movie but i guess they never saw one epi of speed **** in their life. oh well there other hero fish in the sea to look after. iron man here i come!!!

Who remembers the actual story of the dubbed speed racer other then to win the race and stop the generic bad guy..........well since only like 1 in 5000 people in the US who actually watched the show I see no real problem with this and the whole race scenes are either cgi cars or the actors SITTING IN ACTUAL MODEL CARS you heard wrong I've seen footage of them recording against the green screen and Emlie was driving a repilica of the Mach 5(even thought I'm wondering why the number 6 is on it's side) Racer X sounds prefect in the newest trailer I was even alittle freaked out a moment that he would kill me if I stood in speeds way

Looks interesting. I have nothing else to watch on May 9th (ill see Iron Man soon as it comes out) so ill give this film a shot. I remember parts of the original series but its way before my time for me to remember actual plot and stuffxD.

Looks like you need to be high on weed or rolling on X to enjoy this movie.Out of all the movies Wachowksi Brother and sister could have done after the Matrix...WHY SPEED RACER? They should have done Conan like they originally planned. I hope their next movie Ninja Assassin will not look as cheesy like this P.O.S.

ya this looks amazing...its so different from all these other movies that are coming out thats why it looks good...and the wachowski brothers always make a descent if not that then great movie..i will definitely watch this one

Are u kidding me?? The previews make this movie look like another batman & robin..no way is the movie nor the wachoswki brothers...Has people for gotten "Matrix Revolutions"..that movie was awful..then they & Warner Brothers co-sign to make Speed Racer look like this..this what killed the batman franchise for 8yrs. Have people forgotten..people nowadays don't want to see cartoonish movies, they don't do well and if this movie makes money cause people are curious, they'll make a part 2 that will flop at the box office. I will strongly suggest for fans of Speed Racer to not support this vision/version of Speed Racer!!!

Hey LPAGAN and Da Truth I think you guys are a little harsh with the Wachoswki Brothers. I tink its just a different genre that these guys would like to make. I would watch it, I know they're suppose to make Conan but come on, Arnold did that long time ago and I think they should bring Speed into a Big screen I believe that wachoswki brothers did a good job. I think they should do Ninja Gaiden the movie. I think that'll be "Bloody" hell-uva movie.

I continue to be more excited, every time I see another one of these clips.
This movie looks like a fantastically loyal translation from cartoon to film. Visually at least.
I hope it is as exciting and awesome as it looks. I'll certainly be waiting in line on May 9th. I never even cared for the original show, but this one looks very fun.

Matt Fox even sounds like Racer X. Awesome.
This is gonna be a good flick I can feel it.
Not a racing fan or Nascar fan whatsoever and loved this trailer. Just hope the rest of the film is this high on the action. Feels like this is going to be a good anime adaptation.

da truth, i remember.
i'm a long time die hard Speed Racer fan, taped all the eps off tv then bought dvd's. all kinds of SR gear.
and i'm not happy about this farce of a movie that looks/feels nothing like the show. i especially hate the way speed acts in this like he's a 15 year old punk who wants revenge or something. nothing like the noble heroic character in the show who fought only when someone else started it.
