Soon to be hot mom Jessica Alba talked to ComingSoon.net/Superhero Hype! on Wednesday about her upcoming films while promoting her new thriller, The Eye.

CS/SHH!: What can you tell us about your character in "Sin City 2"?
Jessica Alba: I haven't read a script. I don't know anything about it. Robert (Rodriguez) and Frank (Miller) haven't talked to me about it at all.

CS/SHH!: How long until we get "Fantastic Four 3"?
Alba: I have no idea. I know the writers strike and the impending actors strike has kind of put a wrench in everything production wise. That film takes a lot of prep, a good six months of prep and about six months to shoot. With the strike, I think, maybe it's put on hold.

CS/SHH!: Any thought into making "Dark Angel" into a film?
Alba: We've talked about it, I want to work with Jim so I would pretty much do anything he wants to do.

CS/SHH!: In the "Fantastic Four" comics your character becomes a mother. Would you like to see that in the film?
Alba: Little Franklin? Yeah, I think that would be hilarious. He's so powerful, I think that would be a really interesting dynamic a mother-child dynamic. She's still a superhero but she's super protective and he's wild, he can do anything and has no sense of what's appropriate, that would be really fun.

The Eye opens in theaters on February 1.

doctor doom will be back as the villian this time with the skulls,lee arenberg for annihilus and alicia's step father the puppet master,my pick for the puppet master is tony todd.beau garrett coming back as frankie raye and her alter ego nova.the inhumans as the good guys,loved to see a snip off and our heroes enter the negative zone.

i think they should definately make a fantastic four 3 and make sue and reed have franklin.but they should all have to fight galactus and all the superheroes join for the ultimate batlle against good and evil!that would be the best film ever!!

why woul they make a fantastic four 3 the first one was good but not 2 because they screwd up on silver surfer and the story.

Please do us a favour and do NOT bring Fantastic Four 3. I guess they dont make a trilogy because nobody knows how to make the Third One even more worse than the 2nd....

Godfather, are you saying you couldnt be entertained by Batman Begins because it took the material seriously? Are you espousing the age-old and kinda trite viewpoint that anything comic book related shouldnt or cant be taken seriously? Are you aware that the character of Batman has been around for nearly seventy years now? And the only work of any medium to get his story even HALF right was Batman Begins? Do you not feel that the character is worthy of the respect that seventy years as a cultural icon earns him? Now, if you want to compare based on a POPCORN scale, than that is certainly what the FF movies were and I enjoyed them as such. And their nature has always been lighthearted and family-oriented so they lent themselves to POPCORN. Batman is the stuff of legend, of myth. And for once, we have a film that portrays him as such. Perhaps it is the fact that your screenname is taken from what has been widely considered to be one of the worst decisions Hollywood ever spent money on. Im sorry.

I think if they're gonna do a FF--which "Now" it seems like it won't be a possibility--then they should do a "reboot" of the entire franchise. New cast, new director and new writers. Let the folks go on to other things in their career.

I agree with Angie G.... lets wait a while, then reboot...I didn't have a problem with most of the cast, (altho my idea for Doom would have been
Goran Visnjic) but for Gods (and my sanity's) sake, keep Tim Story away from the whole thing!!!!!!!!!!!! He is the Marvel movie equivalent to Joel Schumacher !! Done right, the F.F.could be one of the all time great comic book movies!!!!!

I would watch anything with Jessica Alba in it. She is so amazing. Smart, beautiful and normal not like those crazy loosers that get into trouble all the time. I would love a Fantastic 3 and bringing in Franklin. And can't wait for sin city and if Dark angel made a movie that would be great cause the series just ended too soon.

i just dont understand why sin city 2 isnt getting made. it was a financial success, it was a critical success, it had a great cast who at one point or another have all been eager to make the sequal and there is huge demand for this movie to get made by the public.
i want this movie to come out so bad, shame hartigans dead though, i would have liked to see another story with him but hey u have to be faithful to the comic originals

I hope they do a Fantastic Four 3 with Black Panther... It would be great to see a Black super hero have a movie... the only one so far has been Blade.... but with Black Panther there is so many tie ins...Fantastic Four, X-men, Avengers.... Black Panther would be great especially since a black president is about to be elected!
