Toddler Boy Being Cast for Spider-Man 4?

SpoilerTV has posted an interesting casting call for Spider-Man 4.

According to the site, the production is looking for a "2 or 3 year old boy to play 2 year old, Caucasian with RED HAIR, an adorable toddler with an engaging personality, on set experience preferred. IDENTICAL TWINS ONLY."

We don't want to jump to any conclusions, but the "Red Hair" mentioned is certainly interesting. Stay tuned for whether this will be significant at all.

The fourth installment is targeted for a May 5, 2011 release.

I assume there won't actually be twins in the movie. They just want to be able to swap out actors whenever necessary. Like the Olson twins in Full House.

Cletus Kasady? That's the only thing I can assume...I hope it is. I'd love to see that if it's done right. But for the love of God, it needs to be pushing an R-rating if it is. I have faith in them, even after SM3. Looking forward to this.

Cletus Kassidy is the man who becomes Carnage. He's most significantly known by his crazy red hair. (think of Rorschach from Watchmen).

But...i highly doubt this kid has anything to do with Carnage. I'm more willing to bet that he's playing Peter and MJ's son...which is actually pretty disappointing if true. in the comics, they only have one kid, a girl, who he names after Aunt May. she later becomes spider-girl.

As i'm writing this however, maybe its for a flashback scene...could it be young Harry? or....maybe a young Cletus Kassidy!? THAT would make more sense...AND be totally badass

Ok So how about we see a kid who was friends with Peter who always hated him for what he got, he wad beat and whatnot, so he will come back = Carnage, thats how they will spin in, Venom will come back and Help Spider-Man take him down and Thus a Venom spin off.

I'm guessing there will be some kind of daydream Peter has of how his future with MJ might be (red-headed kid, for example) and that will keep him from messing with Black Cat...or something like that...
PS: PLEASE let it be a musical daydream with lots of dancing...can't get enough of that !

Spiderman 4 Will not have Carage in any way, shape or form. We know they are casting The Black Cat, and they have been saying they are casting a male Villian as well, since Dylan Baker is already casted, this means no Lizard.

Pete and MJ's kid? Seriously? Why does everybody come up with these dumb ass ideas based on nothing? They're not gonna have a kid in the movie. Kassidy in a flash back is fair speculation but probably not too likely...Connor's kid would makes sense...but here's something to chew on. It could be nothing! It could be a kid with one line of dialog...someone Spidey saves perhaps...the hair color may only be specified to match the actor/actress playing his parent...or maybe to match a line of funny dialog or something. Remember, every character needs to be cast no matter how big the part.

Good call by "Big D" and "obvious" my money is on he saves twins for one of the few "Spider-man humor" parts of the movie, that's me being a realist. As a fan I am hoping for Connors kid or kid Kassidy... and as a fan I have to say... "Please Mr. Ramis, no MJ/Peter kid, now that Ironman/Dark Knight came out the bar has been raised, and kid spider would be way under the bar.
