Iron Man 2 is going to be as awesome as the first movie. I have complete faith in Robert Downey Jr. And John Favreau as well as in Gwenyth Paltrow, Scarlett Johannson, Don Cheadle, Samuel L. Jackson and Sam Rockwell. Can't wait!

Dont start that DC / MARVEL BULL**** becuz until Green Lantern comes out....u will only have a thousand spinoffs from 2comic movies. Batman & Superman.
Marvel got a title coming out every year(and they pushing for 2-3 per year actually) while DC fanboys sit with their ears near to Christopher Nolan's Ass to see if he farts out a release date for Batman 3. Many Eggs in 2 Baskets!!!Dark Knight was great but overall....
MARVEL WINS(FATALITY)..... and u know it!!!
BIT-CH!!!

err actually DC has plenty of non-Batman films. Constantine, V for Vendetta, A history of violence etc. Although you would be right in that the vast majority are either Batman or Superman so hopefully this is begining to change...

This isn't about DC vs. Marvel. This is about accepting and acknowledging the truth!
The truth is that Marvel makes hastily produced crap films. Here. Take a gander at the horrendous list of fungus from the valley of Marvel Comics:
1. Fantastic Four (1994)
2. Fantastic Four (2005)
3. Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer
4. X-Men: The Last Stand
5. X-Men Origins: Wolverine
6. Hulk
7. Generation X (1995)
8. Daredevil
9. Nick Fury: Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. (1998)
10. Man-Thing
11. Elektra
12. Howard The Duck
13. The Punisher (1989)
14. The Punisher (2004)
15. Punisher: War Zone
16. Captain America (1990)
17. Blade: Trinity
18. Ghost Rider
19. Spider-Man 3
I wonder what heap of crap will be number twenty on the list.

Wow, awesome pic! RDJ was such an inspired choice for the lead in Iron Man. He looks every bit the rock star that Tony Stark looks in the books.

DC WINS! FACT!
Posted by: LegGodt on October 3, 2009 at 08:34:53
@ senorashish
"DC WINS! FACT!"
Not really ... your list is based on your opinions, therefore your conclusion can not be a FACT.
You need to use a tangible factor to compare films to declare a fact, such as movie profit, awards won, etc ... not just your opinion of if it was good or not.
I hate that I got so mad at your post that I had to post ... but I really hate when I see people use BAD MATH!
Posted by: batman_gr on October 3, 2009 at 08:49:25
You know the fact that you're arguing over who's better is quite lame. DC fans go to Marvel films and Marvel fans go to DC films too. You're trying to tell me that if you are a hardcore DC fan you won't see IM2 and vice versa? We're all waiting for good comic book adaptations. And pray to God they're all good. Hollywood has just started realising that superheroes and moneybringers. If we start having crap films again (like B&R and Hulk) the genre will die again.
Yes, we're still waiting for Nolan's ass to fart the release date. Don't forget that (yeah Spidey was there first ok) Nolan brought the reality in the genre. Thus making the genre far more acceptable to general public.
We need both companies to produce GOOD films. We'll both (DC and MARVEL fans) check'em out anyway.
If you want to make a point, start a petition thing to stop Bay from making another Trans film.

So people see Robert Downey Jr in his wearable/motion capture suit, and in response.... claim that DC makes better movies than Marvel?
I'm dead serious, most of you kids either have been diagnosed or should be diagnosed with an Attention Deficit Disorder. Focus, people. Focus.

Punisher 1989 was a very good movie due to budget constraints wasn't filmed in N.Y, Stan Lee hadb to argue about the logo i.e. we see the daggers with a skull.
XMEN 3, hulk, BLADE TRINITY, ELEKTRA, MAN THING were all awful.
Liongate didn't want Punisher to have a descent budget, Marvel needs to take back the Punisher to get more control, Lionsgate need to to put at least 60 million and marvel 30/40 million thats with cast. Why haven't Lionsgate of whom took over Artisan in 2004 re-mastered the 1989 Punisher????
Marvel is more creative than DC warner brothers, thats a fact many fans would like to see another blade movie, Hulk 2 needs to be sorted and Daredevil not a re-boot so your facts are wrong.
Certain opinions can be fact not all.
