HBO did a fantastic job with these trailers. I've been watching this movie in half an hour increments on my work break almost every day since it came out on DVD and I'm very tempted to fire it up again right now.

as if the movie needed help.

What. When did they make a new Batman movie? I have been waiting since Batman Returns for a good Caped Crusader flick. Think I'm going to have to check this one out.

whats up with the soundtrack? Not epic sounding at all. Strips the whole feeling out of the promos.

better without a weird contemporary song to date it.

put the soundtrack back in. it stands on it's own.

The Dark Knight will be airing on HBO on June 13, 2009 that is fantastic. Some Guy, Where have you been my man a new Batman movie began in 2005 with Batman Begins, and now three years after that film comes The Dark Knight. Heath Ledger(The Joker) won best villain award at the MTV 2008 Movie Awards last week. It, is sad that he is not here with us in person to get all of his awards. My, mother told me that Heath Ledger said, himself that he was fighting a demon that had him so hooked on the Joker character that it costed him his life. Satan, will get people so hooked into things of this world that we forget that our lives does not consist in the abundance of what we possess. Jesus Christ "The Holy Bible".

Anyway, I'm 100% percent sure Same Guy that "The Dark Knight" will air on FX in 2010 since, Superman Returns and sometime this year Spiderman 3 will both be airing on FX. Spiderman 3 comes on all the time on Encore/Startz I recorded it on my DVR and enjoy Spiderman in his red, blue and black spider outuft and later with the black suit Spiderman out aka Symbiote Spiderman.

I CAN WATCH NUMEROUS SEQUEL ABOUT BATMAN & JOKER AND NEVER GET TIRED OF THEIR NEVER ENDING STRUGGLE TO PUT EACH OTHER AWAY IT'S A SHAME THEY TOOK HEATH AWAY FROM US
A REASON LIKE THIS IS A REASON IN ITSELF TO GO TO THE MOVIES WORTH EVERY DOLLAR IT MADE

I think that is the strangest way of promoting a film, but it somehow, in some weird way... fits?

Posted by: Rodrigo on June 8, 2009 at 04:14:55

Most people went into this movie at first, primarily just to see Heath as The Joker and for the main fact being a Bat-Fan. However we came out with a much better movie than EVER anticipated. Unlike Batman 1989 (which is my favourite),I mostly like skipping to the good parts. With The Dark Knight, I watch the ENTIRE movie, cause I love the drama. Batman and Joker could be taking away, and its still one of the very best movies EVER made. I Believe in Christopher Nolan,he made a Batman movie that can rival The Godfather. WOW!!!. I just hope Bruce is back as Batman in the comics by the time BM3 comes out.

Also. Less irrelevant,I HATE Perez Hilton, little ******* ****. He made fun of Heath when he died. Making that movie where Batman finds The Joker dead on the bed.

I, personally always thought that the perfect Batman song is "Butterflies & Hurricanes" by MUSE.

whats an HBO?

Posted by: lionheart on June 8, 2009 at 05:07:40

Hmmm......No Sir I don't like it. The music that is. Having been giving such a dynamic overture thru-out the movie, this pales in comparison. I agree with speedracer216.

Posted by: bryan on June 8, 2009 at 06:00:36

you guys care way too much about the movie's music its just for a commercial.

Posted by: bryan on June 8, 2009 at 06:05:23

oh and i agree with Rodrigo I ****ing have Perez Hilton. he's worse than paparazzi, he's a dumb ass

Slow news day...

Posted by: Rob on June 8, 2009 at 06:23:55

Come on guys, Some Guy is obviously joking. I imagine poking fun of the fact you'd have to have lived in a cave to miss The Dark Knight in the past year and a half.

The Pixies and Batman are both in my top 10 favourite things though so I like these ads. Would be better without dialogue.

Posted by: jt on June 8, 2009 at 06:42:12

hmmm. people do this crap all the time on youtube with all sorts of movies. i want this job at HBO.

Posted by: reshoots on June 8, 2009 at 06:56:09

...people are using the word EPIC wrong all the time now. The story could be epic, the soundtrack, not so much.

Posted by: MikeyD on June 8, 2009 at 07:08:09

June 12th is this friday, not June 13th. They got their date screwed up. The 13th is Saturday.

Posted by: what on June 8, 2009 at 07:08:46

How can a story be epic but a song cant be? A song is just a story put to a rythm.
