the only thing is.... usually those promos only come with the regular dvd, not the special edition with all the bonus features. SIGH!

I'm curious if the coin is plastic or metal, and is it scratched up on one side. Two-Face did scratch up his coin in TDK didn't he? I forget.

When does this come out on DVD?
Posted by: CowboyBebop on November 22, 2008 at 01:11:33
Unfortunately, it doesn't look like they're offering anything special for the Blu-Ray.
Posted by: SHH Brando on November 22, 2008 at 01:15:51
yeah that's what's such a bummer when it comes to so many DVD exclusives out there.
the like 2 or 3 disc special editions have all the great bonus features but no extra cool items along with it.
the Iron Man DVD 2 disc ultimate edition at Walmart had the comic book with it, which was the only special edition DVD I've seen in a while with all the bonus features and something extra.
It's a money racket.

No blu-ray huh, I bet that coin is plastic anyway.
Posted by: SHH Brando on November 22, 2008 at 01:29:51
I wish the regular DVDs had all the special features of the Blu Ray editions as well.
The Blu Ray has the "Batman: Unmasked" documentary along side the other features.
Posted by: David on November 22, 2008 at 02:28:53
eh, I'll just buy the special edition, I have a coin like that at home, and I scratched it on once side. though, I am curious about the comic thing.

You're worried about plastic or metal and yet you have no idea how the coin was defaced. Some Dark Knight fan you are. Why are you even checking a post on the Dark Knight DVD if you have no clue or interest in it?
LOSER.
Shame on you, smegma boy. Go contaminate some other area. Be gone.

I wonder if Best Buy, FYE, Target and all the other stores will have special's as well.

I wish this would come with the Blu-Ray version. Go The Goatman.

The coin looks great, except that it has the word "COPY" on it. I'm hoping the actual coin won't say that on it, otherwise what's the point?
Barring that, I'll definitely pick this up. I've been looking for a good excuse to toss out my Batman Forever Two-Face coin.

Layoff Fanboy Suckhard. God **** some of you just love to lay it in thick for a very tiny little stupid thing that one would expect from grade-school kids and not adults.
And by the way, not everyone who went to see The Dark Knight is familar with Batman mythology.
If the coin bothers you, then I got a riddle for the HUGE Batman-fan: Besides Bruce Wayne, 2 others have donned the Batsuit to fight as Batman, who are they?
Posted by: Taker22 on November 22, 2008 at 06:51:52
DOn't dare use the "Crisis on Infinite Earths" to disprove my statement of 3 Batmans. I'm talking in official comic book canon. Bruce Wayne appointed ________ to replace him while he was gone to recooperate. Upon his return, Bruce removed ________ by force only to appoint ________ as Batman se he could once again leave to re-learn the techniques.

Hey, Taker22,
your little trivia questions is Day 1 of 'Introduction To Batman', at best. Everyone knows the answer to that. The two people that took over the mantle of the Batman while he was out of commission were Guy Gardner and Captain Cold. You dare post on message boards inhabited by REAL fanboys? You're a disgrace
