The Dark Knight viral site CitizensforBatman.org has updated with two coordinates where Batman fans will want to gather when the countdown clock hits zero! (9pm Central Time in Chicago and 10pm Eastern Time in New York on Tuesday). Two threads on both gatherings can be found here and here!
In related news, GothamCableNews.com has posted a new clip from the next "Gotham Tonight." And want to see the Toyota F1 team "racing" the Batmobile? You can check it out using the player below (the Batpod also makes an appearance).
UPDATE #1: Fans with the Joker phones just got the following from
humanresources@whysoserious.com:
OK clown, I see one last test of skill in your future. Post this where everyone can see it: LAMB
UPDATE #3: The two rally points at CitizensforBatman.org have updated to say they will offer a live video stream and text updates. You can check them out by clicking the two coordinates (Chicago and New York).
UPDATE #4: Check out those two rally point links again! A Domino's Pizza commercial is now online as well here.
wow that batmobile is soooo f***ing amazing...looks sooo fun to drive...can't wait for this damn movie. Wish they would have raced the batpod as well.

^^LOL!

Don't let Danica drive it. She'll wreck it and take out 18 pit crew members at the same time.

Ouch..Juan Pablo Montoya
That one accident wasn't her fault and she felt really bad for what happened.

WOW
Posted by: sncfrk on July 7, 2008 at 02:51:32
did anyone else notice that toward the end of the video when the camera is showing the windows with the posters on them, that there seems to be a straight on face shot of twoface holding up a coin?
it's hard to see clearly but i'm pretty sure it's not the same as the other poster of harvey dent holding up the "i believe in H.D." pin.
check it out. Am I right?

The links to the threads don't seem to be working. The NYC location is the courtyard between 1 Centre Street (the Municipal Building) and 40 Foley Square (one of the courthouses). Google map either of those addresses in zipcode 10007 for a better idea and to show which subways are nearby.

@ sncfrk
What was the time on the video? I didn't see it.

the batpod looks extremely uncomfortable to pilot. your back must hurt after a while.

@ FireFly's Enigma
The posters that sncfrk is talking about come up at 3.57. I can't quite tell, but he may be right.
Nice pick up sncfrk

sncfrk, the image (at the 4 minute mark) is really fuzzy but it does look different to the Dent poster on the other building. That one you can clearly see his hand, but the one on the right looks different...

There is no Two-Face on the poster. It really is blury, but you can still see that he is holding the "I Belive in Harvey Dent" button.
Also, the side of his face that can barely be seen in this poster is his right side. But the right side is the healthy one. Two-Face's disfigured side is the left side.

The Batmobile driver should have just ran over the F1 driver, or at least shot out some mines.

sorry to ruin it for your "batman likes boys" but by all accounts so far it is as amazing as everyone has been hoping/assuming/expecting. The most negative review that I have read so far can pretty much be summed up as saying "TDK is not a masterpiece, but it is an amazing movie that elevates the genre." The best reviews I have seen are calling it one of the best crime dramas ever released...that's right, crime dramas, not super hero movies. It is considered serious cinema in the industry insiders, not just another super hero movie. Sorry to disappoint.

That's not a poster of Two-Face... Two-Faces good side is his right side, and the card is covering up the right side, so it's the I believe in Harvey Dent poster...
On one of the trailers you see Harvey riding in a car with a gun, and if you look at his nose and chin, you can see some type of disfiguration on it...

Impressive stuff!! Hope the movie lives up to the hype!!
