I still love the "uhmm" by the Joker!

Best movie of year!!!! nothing will compare with it. Heath ledger looks so good in this movie

yeah this one isn't thrilling...the montage (is that a word???) is weird...

can't wait for this movie anyway, they could get the worst crap out about the dark knight i'd still wanna be first in line to see it, everything they've made about tdk is freakin' sweet so it's not a weird tv spot that will turn me off.

I love how they circulate the same 3-5 minutes of footage and yet, I get psyched every time. Here's hoping they don't release anything else. It'd be amazing to see the movie and be shocked about many things.

hm, must be the spot for the kiddie channels.

*kids watch batpod fly by* "AWESOME!!" "WICKED COOL!!"

I laughed, and groaned at this message.
It wasn't the dancing in Spider-Man 3 which displeased me, it was that dialogue! Urgh.

Saw TDK trailer before Incredible Hulk this morning. It looks SO good on the big screen!

cool, i really cant wait. i think it will give me chills to see joker and hear his theme on screen

Hooray. I, like most of you, are yawning over the fact that we see the same bits of footage over and over and over. I was initially pissed that they changed the story from the 89, but I've grown to like Chris Bale as Batsy(will Joker use that term? I hope so.) I am just as excited about this movie as I was about Begins. That's a 4/5 on the excite-meter. This movie will obviously be better than Begins, with more characters, and hopefully Two-Face. Of course, everyone who enjoyed the first one is required to go, even people who never saw the first one must see Heath's last performance. I was initially skeptical about the new Joker, but he pulled it of perfectly(second only to the immortal Jack Nicholson).
I don't even think we have to hope for a decent film. This will definitley match Iron Man for the year(93% on RT). I'm a Marvel fan, but I always have Batsy's back.

Couldn't agree with you more...The guy who wrote that article has really been a hater from the start. We should all be happy (and so should he) that Spider Man 1 & 2 were as good as they were, as well as Blade and X-Men 1 & 2. It sucks that some character's aren't treated properly by filmmakers and movie studios, and, let's not deny the fact that not every character is meant for a feature film, i.e. Ghost Rider and Thor, which I think is going to be difficult to relate to audiences.

Guys, I need help. My friend is insistent that DC owns Marvel. I can't reason with him because he refuses to acknowledge how ridiculous that is. Does anyone know where I could find a solid rebuttal to his claim? I couldn't find anything too solid online, but he has to be wrong. Any help would be awesome. Thanks.

Sylar:
Time Warner owns DC. Marvel Studios operates as a part of Marvel Entertainment, there's Marvel Enterprises, Marvel Comics, all that jazz. I believe that they are a company unto themselves.

Posted by: Batman on June 12, 2008 at 02:25:51

I really do not want to work at all.

Not the most exciting Spot have seen...kind of weird montage.

But anyway, they don't have to do anything I've been sold on this one since I came out of Begins in june '05...just can't wait.

Glad it didn't show much

DC does own Marvel...

just messing with you.

Tell your friend he is retarded and just be done with it.

I like how TDK is so dark that this is the only material they could use to make a TV Spot for kids

Posted by: The Real Rhodes Owns Stark on June 12, 2008 at 03:19:01

I think WB might have made a slight miscalculation in deciding to release this one later than at least what, 3 or 4 other superhero-related films.

Although, I do realize it's going to be a fun film that I'd be willing to pay for... I have spoken to 'non-comic' fans that are already tired of all the superhero movies and the TV trailers.

It will be interesting to see how TDK fares.
